However, with these homemade wood cleaners, this will not happen.

Today we would like to tell you about 8 simple, homemade cleaning products for wood.

Remember that the first step is to see what kind of furniture is needed to work with and what needs to be done.

Yes, you heard right: walnuts can be the perfect thing to clean your wood surfaces with.

Thanks to the oily liquid they contain, your furniture and everything you have in the house will look like new.

To use them, all you have to do is peel them and rub the base of the walnut on the wooden surface.

This is how you get the results you hope for, and of course they will not scratch the wood surface.

2. Red wine vinegar and olive oil

Two ingredients you can use as wood cleaners are red wine vinegar and olive oil.  They make your wood surfaces look flawless.

Here’s all you need to do:

  • Put equal parts of each ingredient in a container.
  • With a cotton cloth, wipe the mixture over your wooden furniture and  let it dry for about an hour.
  • As a finish you can use wax, which really brings out the shine.

This trick is very effective, because the oil moisturizes the wood and the vinegar removes the accumulated dirt.

When dry, wipe over with another dry cotton cloth for even more shine. You can not ask for more!

3. Mayonnaise

If you are trying to remove stains on your wood surfaces, a little mayonnaise is all you need.

This is good for the annoying scratches and cracks  that wood surfaces sometimes get.

For it to work in the best possible way, use a layer of Vaseline and leave it on ( the longer, the better ).

Then just wash off the remaining Vaseline and you’re done.

To fix small scratches and dents, use a damp cloth and apply heat with an iron.

You will see that they disappear as if it were magic!

6. Hot water

Pour water into glass

Mix your usual detergent with warm water and wipe the surface with a towel.

Clean with warmer water (this time by itself) and wipe with another towel.
